Nantahala is a little snug on the upper part above where all the rafting happens. But this is where it gets its name. In Cherokee it means land of the noonday sun And it’s accurate you don’t see the sun till around 11

Those are more of a “park” style camper. They aren’t really meant to be towed around to multiple places. They’re meant more for the “let’s retire to AZ, rent a lot in a trailer park and move it there permanently “ type of situation.

    Right. Same thing I said.
She says: well we might stay a couple weeks/month. Then she throws in... Its a destination & thts a destination camper.
    Lmao

She also has no clue about pulling, setting up or parking a monster like that.

We always had 32 or 36' bumper pulls, but they weren't that tall.
    Probably weighed more though.

More wife logic: she says all you do is set in the seat and drive the truck... It follows right behind you.

    Yikes.

Me thinks a regular pull behind laid out correctly would be plenty.
She insists it must have 1.5 or 2baths & full size fridge w/wash/dryer..

She goes large at everything she does.

With a rig like that you’re going to be stuck in KOA style RV parks. Probably not going to fit in 99% forest service and park service camps.
I’d rather go smaller and get to more places. Kinda why I went with the truck camper. Yeah, I’m 12’ tall and 5 tons but I can still get to most all of my favorite camps that I visited when I had just a tent. Takes a little longer to get there but I do it.
I know of a few models of bumper pull and 5 th wheels that would fit the bill and be a better towing option than that.
Look up a Sabre 37FLH for one example. A lot of the newer 5th wheels with the front living rooms have a half bath. And most have a full fridge.

    Why are they so small?

I would be nervous if I was an animal in your house.
    Whatever makes you happy.

Will do. I'm more in the mind like you said of 32-36' regular pull behind. 5th wheels are an absolute "NO" with me.

No worries the animals in our house live large & they are priority over us. We spend more on there food than we do ours. If one of them even gets a hang nail they are at the vet. :)

Realistically they will all be aged out in 10 years & only 2 cats really have a shot at being around that long.

    Edit note:

MT that is a really nice 1.5 bath. Really nice. I just wont do the 5th wheel.... That same set up in regular pull behind would be perfect.

Not sure what will be pulling with at that time. Might not be the super duty. Might be something more like a F450/550...

Because the bait fishermen have swarmed in and wiped the big ones out. It’s a delayed harvest stream and it’s harvest time.

I think most bumper pulls with a bath and a half will be bunkhouses or toy haulers.

Dnr wants them cleaned out they won’t survive the hot weather here. So they turn them loose with corn worms and power bait with no size limitations.
