I almost never had to wash my silver sky.

    ...

My MGM will get dirty from it's own reflection.

However, for the 45 seconds that it's clean, whoo does it turn some heads.

Nah...they typically come from brake pads. Bits are thrown up when braking and since they are hot, they melt & stick into the clear on the paint....then they start rusting. Autoglym "Magma" spray does wonders removing those rusty micro-splinters from the paint.

I like silver, I have other vehicles that are silver.
So while shopping for a Tacoma, I was looking for a csm one.
After a while of shopping, there was stealership who had an mgm.
Mgm was my second choice in color. This mgm was the trim level and had the features I was looking for.
    So I bought it.

Yeah, mgm color shows water stains and dirt noticeably compared to csm.

Both are good colors for a Taco. (Although it must be said that LR is better of course!)

Having a choice between the two; I'd go with CSM. It does suit the taco very well. (Rust deposits are an environmental issue - not a paint, or color issue). It will be cooler in the sun and silver does hide imperfections well.

MGM also suits the Taco quite well, but it seems that 90% of Tacos are MGM with the rest being white or black!

It is harder to keep clean - Also, (and importantly) EVERY manufacturer offers ALL their cars in an MGM or equivalent - so this color is it is everywhere - making the landscape oddly monochrome and boring across this country.

I like the CSM it looks clean even when it's not and the there is a lot of metallic in the color. It really depends on how committed you are to keeping it clean and how much work you will put into it the darker you go. Lot's of folks will tell you "F it, its a truck" but in the end it's your purchase so go with what you want. I like keeping mine clean.(looking at least)
