It seems like i can? Based off of the picture below. I plan on getting WDH, sway control and a brake controller. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated!

If you have the tow package, a brake controller, and trailer brakes theoretically you could but you and the truck probably won't like it and on a windy day it would really not be fun to pull.

No you can't pull that trailer! Maybe your truck could.

    All silliness aside, you didn't mention with what. 194 cyl/auto Toyota p/u? 2015 Tundra v8? 2002 7.3 Ford?

The better question is, how far and how often do you plan on towing it?
If more than 100 miles at once. And more than a couple times a year. I would not recommend it.

If you have a wife and kids, and your patience are thin. Definitely not.
Because the trip will start out and end with something you and the truck aren't looking forward to.

Do what you have to do. It "will" tow it.
But it take it easy on yourself, and hard on the truck.
Keep it up in the RPM range and let the engine eat.
These trucks don't make power until about 3,000 rpm.
And you're going to need ALL the power you get on hills and headwinds.

Probably not! Have '23 TRD Off Road and miserable towing 1700# pontoon on tandem trailer. Constant trany hunting between 4th & 5th gear and 3200-4600 rpm range on fairly low hill route. 6mpg hell!

I don’t know where you live, but you might also consider the climb outs you might have to go over. Where I live in So Cal, if I want to go to Yosemite, anywhere in the Sierra, or just Big Bear, the passes I would have to negotiate would be something I would not look forward to. Some are really long and have significant grades. I don’t pull anything more than a 15 foot motorcycle trailer with mine. If I were buying a travel trailer, I would have bought a full size, and probably a diesel. I prefer having a good interval of power and braking, and don’t want to put that much wear and tear on a mid size. Just my 2cents. I do see plenty of Tacomas pulling smaller travel or box trailers.
It will pull it, but as stated above, it might not be a pleasant experience. Think about how much total weight you are going to haul when loaded up.

It’s important to consider stopping (like in an emergency) as well as pulling.

Short answer, barely. Long answer, still barely - wouldn't recommend it. Too many factors at play, but simply put, its too much weight for a mid size truck to tow frequently (comfortably and reliably). Don't forget to factor in all the weight of stuff you intend to stock the camper full of. Thatll be hundreds of lbs. Also don't forget to factor in ass weight, that is the weight of your ass, your wife's ass, kids ass, dogs ass, etc. You can haul a bunch of assholes, and it adds up quick.

Get a full size vehicle. You're not going to have a good time trying to pull that trailer around with the Tacoma.

Short answer, absolutely not. Buy a full size truck or a trailer under 4000lbs fully loaded weight suitable for a Tacoma.

Realistically that's a 5200lb empty weight and 675lb tongue weight. Put the minimum camping supplies in and you're at 5500/715. Need to take water to a site without hookups - 6000/780. With that size of trailer I'm assuming you aren't alone so you'll need payload capacity in the truck for the family which you're quickly running out of.

That hitch weight looks dry to me. The hitch on my pop-up has been known to exceed 400 pounds, and Ive seen very few campers where the hitch and WD gear manages to stay under 15% of TW. I would be worried about that over tow rating - because you will over the hitch limit after propane, batteries, and water.

That is also suspiciously light for its size. I would not want to hook that up behind any vehicle. Ultra-feather-helium trailers have compromises you don't see on the spec sheet. Things like "the wind now has control of your steering wheel" and its a race to see if the trailer needs structural repair before or after you pay it off.

Yes and no. Based on the specs represented in the diagram, and your tow vehicle specs, you would probably be within limits if you towed it "as is". But, there is the possibility that the weight of the WDH would push your tongue weight close to, or over, the 650 limit. Once you've added all your "stuff" to the trailer, plus your passengers and other truck payload, you'll be overweight. If you think I'm full of shit, that's ok, my wife thinks that also. :)

You’re not going to be happy trying to pull a trailer that size and weight .
Anyone following you on a two lane road will be less then happy.

I think you know the answer to your question. If you didn’t have major doubts you wouldn’t be asking the question. Towing that with your truck will be a total shit show experience. And towing that in a cross wind you are going to be all over the road. Get a bigger heavier duty truck or a smaller trailer.

Not recommended, that trailer would throw your truck around in poor road conditions and winds.
