Help! Will the truck tell me if the fob is too far away?

I left work, got home and now I can't find my keys? I know I had them to lock the door when I left work and I started the truck? I have not turned the truck off, how can I tell if I lost my keys in the truck somewhere or dropped them on the way home???

 

Well if you try to lock your door with fob in truck it will scream at you . Try that and if you cant lock there in your truck somewhere

 

On my RAV if you open the door then turn it off the vehicle beeps if the key is still inside

 

Did you not have a spare you can use until you find the one you misplaced?

If truck is running and you drive away without key fob it will start beeping and continue beeping until truck is shut off or fob is back in range.

 

Found key!! When I through my bag in the back seat I must have tossed the keys to, lol! I have my back seats modded to fit bigger speaker box, the keys slipped between the bottom cushion and the back of the seat and found their way under my sub amp, lol!

I just used mine about 3 hours ago. Where were my keys? At my GF's work,,, with her keys and her truck.

Say I got to lock my truck with the sensor on driver side handle it will beep long , meaning hay dummy fob is inside long beep.

 

We rented a 2021 tacoma for this last weekend. The damn thing would beep and chime at me if I got out and stood next to the truck with the engine running and the key in my pocket
