Newbie here

Hello all!

So, after many months of deliberation over what truck to buy, torn between Tacoma, Frontier, and Canyon, I pulled the trigger on a Black “23 Tacoma TRD OR with 9k miles. It’s my first truck and my first 4x4 but I’m looking forward to the many adventures that are to come. Maybe it’s a midlife crisis thing, but I’ve recently felt a strong urge to get out and explore the many beautiful places we have here in California and to capture it in paintings. I know it’s something I could have very well done in the RAV4 but being as many of these trips will be solo, the 4x4 gives me some assurance that if I get into a sticky off-road situation I will be able to get out (safety and recovery equipment will be obtained prior to starting my explorations).

I’m also looking forward to seeing what this forum has to offer and getting to know the community.
