Awful grinding noise after getting my rear brakes adjusted at local mechanic. Shoes seem to be grinding especially when going between gears.

also discovered my e-brake doesn’t work unless I pull it all the way up to max position.

normally use e-brake to park all the time (neutral, e-brake, release brake pedal, park). But now only works if I yank the e-brake all the way???

any ideas, thoughts or comments would be appreciated!

Sounds like you need to find a new shop to look at your brakes. It’s hard to say what was done.
