    I've gotten as low as 6.4 towing/hauling.

    Does your cousin have a canopy, by chance? and you don't? My canopy added at least 2 mpg, figure it was helping keep the air up off the nose of my trailer.

    Towing this thing gets me 7-8mpg. Fully loaded bed, 2 adult, 2 kids and loaded water tanks.

    none
    10-12 mpg when towing is normal. And sometimes in single digits depending on the trailer and terrain. Headwinds will kill you.
