Are you in a cubicle or something? Can you get one of those Helmet hooks on the partition?

This is super unhelpful but I put my helmet in my top box haha.

Speaking of riding into work, today was I think the third day ever I haven’t ridden in to work. We were supposed to have a 7AM call so I had to wake up super early for that + I didnt sleep well last night so Im still mostly asleep and decided it wasn’t worth it and drove the new to me Forester in to work. It almost feels like Im cheating on the S10 haha

just a couple of things tbh
nope my work is a lot of classified stuffs so any electronic has to be left out of areas so it has to stay up there or on your vehicle and id rather have it inside then outside lol. we do have spiders that fly around spring and ive made that mistake once!
haha all good it was more of a rant to see if anyone has had that issue. since idk i try to not mess with others property so just annoyed me lol

i mainly drive my truck since weather changes within 5mins out here haha. i did find a good deal on a older civic si coupe and maaaaan i want it but i really dont need it!

Can't you just remove the com unit from the helmet and leave it on the bike somewhere? I know my Sena just pops right off of the side of my helmet and could easily be stashed separate from the helmet itself. When I do have the need to lock my helmet in one of my FJR saddlebags I have to unclip the Sena so it will fit.

yes it can. my cardo you can take it right off but as stated my work is all classified and no electronics are allowed inside past the area where my helmet is at minus certain ear buds and headphones. so i would have to take the speakers, mic and mount off. now thankfully mine is on the clip so it can come off and on but id have to take everything out of my helmet. if i forget one thing and security finds i have some bluetooth item or mic item they will come down and take the item and my phone to make sure i didnt send anything out and give it back at the end of the day or next week if there is a lot on the phone or item. which btw breaks your phone baaaad since they force it open and access everything.

didn't you JUST scoop up a civic to migrate all your parts into? lmao

the only bluetooth portion is in the actual unit, not the headphones/mic? Unless it's like a specific pre-approved list of what's considered allowed and those don't qualify.

Maybe use a cheapo helmet with regular earbuds that they would let you bring to your desk? or leave the earbuds on your bike if you have a tank/tailbag? hopefully the person doesn't do it again. I'm sure nothing was damaged but I hate when my stuff is touched without me knowing.

They've done that in Philly before too... make it a media spectacle and waste all the machines. I get that they weren't registered or not road legal but so stupid to turn all that to scrap metal.

I do feel like I see a ton more scooters here in the city lately, mainly being used by delivery drivers running food around it seems.

LMFAO. somehow i don't think that's their number one quality of life issue...

idk why they wouldn't just auction them off and make some money...seems like a huge waste. Article says illegally registered and tools of the criminal trade. Funny how mopeds/scooters were never tools of criminals within THIS country until recently. But I'll leave it at that.

As you stated yes those items are not allowed. If you look at a pair of headphones and they have 3 rings on the plug that means it has a mic which is a no go. And the cardo since it has a mic even with the station disconnected is a no go. So I'd have to take everything out.

Tbh I don't buy things I won't use so buying a helmet just for riding to work to me is a waste of moneys also earbuds are awful haha I use to do that before and hated it so much! So I'll just hope it doesn't get messed with again. I just wanted to rent about it hahs

Straight on the ferry, but caught the aft ramp. Saved me a half hour, but not the sweet sweet holeshot off the bow.

Well tomorrow morning is my all on 4 surgery. I have been anxious since Tuesday thinking about it. Not the bad kind of anxiety but just the nervous type. The next few weeks are going to suck but I hope it’s all worth it in the end. No more achy teeth, hot cold sensitive, broken, dead and able to chew food on both sides of my mouth.
