Got mine installed finally. Been about 2 years
    Notes:
    1. Was very intuitive, simple install even no instructions. This thread was very helpful however.
    2. They are BEEFY AS F***. Thanks Jerry.
    3. Would highly recommend having a friend help, and have some beer on hand too.

@JLee , gotta ask, any plans to add an option for an oil filter door for the 3rd Gen crowd?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Nope we make our skids for strength not the ease of oil changes.

Got the skid plates back in 2016 and finally decided to clean them up with the thermoplastic powder coating. Only because I'm doing the 60k service and these plates need to come off.

I repaired both IFS and mid-skids but only snapped terrible pics of the IFS. Painting would be quicker and easier, but not as durable. With thermoplastic, you get to play with fire. The key is to get the spoon hot enough.

Repaired half before I remembered to snap pics

The tools involved. The starbucks cup contain the powder.

Got a set of 4 year old trlogy skids up for grabs in Seattle area.

Hit em with a flap disc to knock the rust off and a can of flat black today. Asking $800. Comes with complete hardware set, albeit a bit rusty.
