Looking into getting a canopy camper for my truck I know there are a ton of options out there wanting something similar to the new overland vehicle systems topper or like the smart cap what does everyone think. And show me what you currently have.

The coolest one I ever saw is called the Wildernest. They stop making them in the late 90's. You can find them on Craigslist if you get lucky. Snag one if you can find it.

My Super Pacific at the end of a rough 4x4 trail on Texas Creek near Taylor Res in Colorado.
If you plan on “overlanding” or taking on rougher back roads, a wedge type camper works well. Two years ago when I got this there were only a half dozen options out there. Today there may be 15 companies. The GFC is still probably the lightest and the AluCab the heaviest. AluCab is sold world wide. Most of the others only USA. AluCab probably has the most options, but is the most expensive while GFC may be the lowest cost.
I don’t have an after market rear swing out bumper, so I also can tow my Casita trailer or my kayak trailer behind mine.
Lots of options depending on how you camp and what you want to use it for.
Check out theTW forums for Vagabond, GFC, and Super Pacific for more info.

    Good luck making your choice!
