I refuse to buy television so I use an antenna and a couple of streaming services that my daughter shares without cost to me. We lost the ABC feed recently, and it happens occasionally. Usually if we lose something it's CBS or NBC but they are fine. PBS always seems to come in. We do get "junk channels" too, but they are easily ignored. I just can't justify paying for channels so I can surf more than I already do.

We're just up the road from there. A couple of days ago we did a hike in Capitol Reef NP.

    Nice set up.

Well done. I hope you showed him what to do and he did the actual work. Everyone starts somewhere.

Good morning. I am dragging but I will make the gym. Might go back to bed when I get home.

I would do the first item then he did the next. That way he would watch what needed to be done and I made sure he understood the process then he was able to do his side. He's a nice guy and a decent enough rider I just think he's really intimidated at the idea of wrenching on his own bike. I'm certainly not a professional mechanic by trade but have always wanted to do as much of my own work as possible. Beyond the money that can be saved I like the satisfaction of knowing that I took care of it myself. He also needs to worry less about things he reads on the internet. LOL.

Looks like another “beautiful day in the neighborhood”! Low 80s and mostly sunny with a slight chance of rain this afternoon.

I'm hoping everything is good with @Devious6 . Haven't heard from him in a while.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Looks like our 20% chance is just West, and moving South. Oh well, good enough, as I have the last of the internet list to restore, and it's all outside except the garage door. Fix some greenhouse drips, and run errands in the afternoon. Almost back to "normal"

    whatever that is.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
A dozen of us WI folk went out and exercised our trucks yesterday. The place has an interesting background. It was once a compound occupied by sovereign citizens. They refused to pay taxes, fought the IRS for years claiming to be a church. They had live-fire tactical training events on the grounds, built shelters loaded with ammo into some of the hillsides. They threatened many of the locals and anyone that got too close to the property. Eventually they were taken down by the Dept of Natural Resources because they had moved several mobile homes onto the land and installed septic systems without a permit. When all was said and done, the land was given to the county, which didn't know what to do with it for years. Eventually, someone thought the land would be a great place for offroad trails and the county developed it into an offroad park/campground. Some of the trails are quite challenging.

    Afternoon all:

Mark, Cheech, and MQQSE seem to go MIA on occasion, as always, hope all is well with them.

Cool, but as makes me wonder as for driving some of them to the track though ! I had heard about something like this before, but I think the distance the car had to be driven was quite a bit less though.

Some of the Drag and drive events , the total street driving mileage has been just over 1k miles in the 5 day long event . Some of parts that fail on the race cars on the drive portion of the event are camshaft failures , rocker arm failures , broken valve springs and dropped valves . Trying to keep solid roller valvetrain alive is a major problem on these cars

The routes to ea track are set up to not be a direct route and takes you on not well traveled back roads . Some cars might take 6-8 hours to drive maybe 200 miles
