Giant pond for feesching!

 

Always use oem, didn't sit, and every 5k .. some oil always comes out from the filter spot on my truck but not tgis time. Measured and only 4.75 qts drained out, not 5.5 ... wtf. Thoughts?

Does it have a breather? I have 2 breathers upfront in my engine that been puking oil (see it down the tubes) but I was told that is normal and thought they were to my front diff and tranny. Traced one to my tranny.. but now questioning the second one.

Not sure why only 4.75 qt came out. A good amount stays in the filter itself. I think up to a qt. So keep that in mind.

Engine doesn't have a breather hose like that. I would replace the PCV valve if questioning the engine ventilation.

Sorry man wish I could be more help. Just keep a close eye on your engine oil level for the next few months or until your next oil change.
