    Aloha!

I have a 2014 V6 Limited (stock/no lift) and I noticed my boots were wet/greasy looking and I didn’t see any tears or rips. Is this normal?
    Thanks!

The mark I left on the “grease” is when I touched it to see what it was. Haha.

Looks like rust proofing all over undercarriage.

Good point! I did detail the wheel well area few months ago… maybe it was an over spray? all the other ‘boots’ are dry so it made me curious I guess

I think you’re right. I touched them and it was dry to the touch. I guess the detail stuff dried up and picked up dirt! I’ll spray some degreaser on it.

    thanks!

If you’re feeling adventurous, a little squeeze on the boots can tear a weak spot (and require it to be replaced).

Looks great. I talked w/ an undercoating guy the other day and he said fluid film slowly dissolves the boot…whatever it was you got off of yours hopefully it improves the life of your part.
