I’ve searched everywhere but everybody gives a different answer. I have a 2013 Double Cab Short Bed TRD Sport 4wd. I’ve included pictures of both left and right sides. Nothing is really wrong with them, apart from them looking flat or even inverted. The left rear side is only 1/4in lower than the right rear side. Over bumps it does seem to be a bit harsh if going somewhat faster speed.
I ask this because I just bought a Headstrong Progressive 1.5” AAL for the purpose of getting my rear end a little higher again after adding a 2” lift in the front. I have a tonneau cover and don’t carry any constant weight in the back. Every now and then I may carry some things in the back, pickup truck things. The heaviest load is about 1-2 times a year when I will want to put my ATV in the bed. I also did a test to see if it fits and I will include that picture as well (this is with 2” front lift and no lift rear). I believe that ATV weighs 600-700lbs.
I care about comfort when I’m not carrying anything but I also want to know my truck is capable a couple times a year to carry 700 lbs with some passengers.
To sum it up, I don’t want to waste a brand new AAL (outside of return period) if I should get new leaf packs anyway. If I do, I’d rather know now so that I can sell the AAL and make most of my money back since it’s still unused. Obviously I don’t want to spend anymore money but if I have to I’ll suck it up eventually. What do you guys think? Are my leaf packs fine? Will the AAL be fine for my use case? TIA

    Regular AAL
    progressive AAL

if you want a good leafpack, look at good leafpacks
Such as probably in no particular order, Icon RXT, Deaver, and Archive

idk about progressive AAL as I never had it. Probably better than a regular cheap single AAL. I did have that. And it didn’t compare to my Icon RXT which is better.

truck has weight and gets even more weight for trips.

I’d spray some woolwax on the exposed metal and then monitor the corrosion over time. They can bust and puncture the fuel tank.

Yep... look flat and with that weight the rear is sagging. Skip the aal and get a full leaf pack for sure. Check out the Icon RXT. If don't carry weight normally option 1 would be a safe bet but if you ever decide to upgrade you have option 2 and 3 to fall back on. Just for reference this is option 2 with a 2" lift front/back with the weight of a canopy.
