    Bone stock.....for now
So first time owning a Tacoma, I upgraded from a 02 z71 Tahoe that finally died on me to a 2015 pre runner v6 2wd with the 6 foot bed. I’m currently looking at the only 3 upgrades I really want to do which is just get some black steelies instead of the stock wheels, upgrade the window tint because it makes the interior temperature so much better, and stereo upgrades.

that last part being said, I’m looking into subwoofers and just spending the money on a JL Stealthbox. My question to the community since I see there’s two options and they say “old style storage vs ribbed storage” how do I actually tell what is in the truck? I tried searching this forum and I couldn’t find anything by searching “old style storage”

thanks in advance guys, love going through this site for some of these builds, kind of bummed I got a 2wd but it is what it is.

    Welcome, sir!

Speakers and head unit are my favorite upgrade. Good call on that!

my buddy is a stereo guy and does great work. We’re going to install a kenwood deck that has CarPlay and retains the stock steering wheel controls and back up camera, at least to start. Then I can put the money aside to get speakers, tweeters, sub and a 5 channel
