Condensor has minimal signs of wear due to road debris and whatnot. 99% of the fins are clean and in great shape. My truck only has 77k on it so it's a huge bummer to think that I've got some major overhaul needed for anything mechanical that isn't directly related to me beating on it.

As a tech who has had experience with this concern I would check the following. Are both heater hoses going in and out of the heater core hot?. If so you may have a partially plugged heater core. Most cores lay in the heater box so half is on the driver's side and the other half is on the passenger side. The antifreeze may only be circulating through half the core due to being plugged. Try flushing the core. Don't waste your money on flushing solutions. A good dish detergent works great. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, I did a recharge on mine and it has been working fine as of now. I am waiting for a warm day to turn the A/C on. I think my freon was low. I inspected all the hoses and my cooling system and I did not see anything that is raising a res flag

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
When driver's side blows warm and passenger side blows cold or vice versa it is usually due to low refrigerant. There's something about the refrigerant changing states too soon as it moves across when its low.

The AC compressors have a seal at the front shaft that leaks over time because of the design, so the systems will need to be topped off after a few years even if all the o-rings and hoses are not leaking.

I lucked out assuming I wasn't fed a line. Turned out that the new shrader valve was faulty. It's been blowing cold since they fixed it about 2 weeks ago. I didn't want to post my experience until I was more confident that it was going to maintain. Whew...

I’m having this problem. Left vent is the coldest and it’s progressively warmer to the right. Fingers crossed it’s just low

I have an appointment with my local guy to do just that on the 21st. I'll update here. How's your dash after they put it back together? Did you have any new rattles?

Update - My local guy found I was low and needed a charge. He said after that it is blowing cold like it should. He put dye through it and doesn't see an leaks right now but said if it (fingers crossed it doesn't happen) it stops blowing cold again to come back and he will look for pin hole leaks. I'm picking it up in an hour.

Update: So far so good! Blows colder from all vents than it did when new. Hope it sticks
