    Which rock?

Why bother with the pedal commander if you're tuned? Can't they just tune the pedal response to be better?

This is more what I was referring to.
Pedal Commander gives you adjustability where a tune is fixed.
There were times when the response was, what I thought, too quick for the obstacle. (but I'm green)

Edit: The key take away is I was able to adjust it to a comfortable level, accordingly.

    Disclaimer..
I, in no way shape or form, deem pedal commander as a superior choice.
I got it half off open box deal. :D

    I'm describing what I'm experiencing.

Pedal control is an important aspect. There were a few times where I had to really concentrate on not getting on the gas too much. A little bit of gas was too much in some places. Had to dial down the right foot. The pedal is a bit touchy, but it's what I am used to and I know what the truck will do at a certain pedal pressure on an obstacle.

I have a 2nd (best) gen Tacoma, thus I have no need for such workarounds!

    Then I will.

The Pedal Commander is the superior choice ( for the budget minded )
I think the juice is worth the squeeze on this mod. Even at full price.

1/2 off open box. F*ck yeah, buddy.

Yes you do! You just haven't been in a situation where you need a workaround. You don't know what you don't know.

I have heard of people using those devices exactly like you are describing. I think that it's nice to have the option to dial it back to stock.

Agreed! I've had several Toyotas with mushy feeling gas pedals now, so I'm used to it. I like how easy it is to feather it over obstacles. And, when I want to go, I slam it to the floor like it owes me money.

The reason I tried to scale the face of that bolder, you and Tim were standing on, is because I thought Dean went that way.

I'll still try again next time.

Nobody needs it, though. I'm doing fine without one.

I can't think of a single situation where it would be needed.

Nice to have; sure! Everybody who has them seems to like them.

Oh, yeah! I think that's when Erik and I doubled back because he didn't want to do the rock bridge. That's a fun spot!

It was after the rock bridge when it clicked that I can drop the response.
Otherwise, I leave it in one spot all the time for daily driving.
The rock bridge isn't a spot I felt comfortable sending it.
    Maybe with some 33's.

I wouldn't be sending it on that Rock Bridge unless I had a buggy. That's definitely a spot that requires a lot of finesse, Imo. Seems like you made it through okay!

That's the rock bridge in the corner, by the fence. Also a fun area!

The one in Brian's picture has the wooden bridge next to it. That's where Erik and I went back the other way and met back up by the other big play area.

The one in Brian's picture is the one in the corner...I was following him on that trail. You can see my RotoPax over the back of his truck.

You can see the Wood Bridge in the picture. Is there a wooden bridge at the spot down by the fence that I've never noticed?
