OTT Tuners in Northeast: Recommendations, Experiences?

Have been saving for a tune for the last few months. Finally starting to get close to getting a tune done and after a lot of research, I am thinking of going with the OTT tune. I have searched the OTT Tuner list and there are a couple people in my area, but I would love to hear from anyone with any personal experience getting their OTT tune. The good, the bad, or maybe so amazing you ended up naming your first born child, OTT.

I live in CT but am more than happy to drive a few hours to get the tune done by someone who has experience tuning Tacomas, and ideally, someone who is passionate about their tune.

I tried searching Threads and didn’t find much on Northeast Tuners. Any insight that you guys might have would be greatly appreciated.

 

I got mine from WickedMatt in Exeter, RI. He was responsive and made the experience smooth. Tuning is his cake and man his 4runner is nice haha.

 

I was in WNY and didn’t even know Matt got into Toyotas. It would have changed some plans last summer. I’ve known Matt 20 years through Hondas and know how above and beyond he goes for people. He is also brilliant when it comes to tuning.

You guys are awesome!!! Really appreciate getting responses so quickly. I spoke with Matt a few weeks ago. Great guy and was clear that he is passionate but seeing the outpouring from everyone definitely speaks worlds about Matt.

I’m a new Tacoma owner (2023 TRD Pro) and discovered the OTT Tune mod on the forum. Spent about a month thinking about and researching pros/cons. Heard all the positives about increased feel, acceleration and overall driving joy. Didn’t see many negatives other than hesitation to make a change. Was still a little apprehensive but talked with Wicked Matt (www.mattminer.com) and he was super helpful. Extremely knowledgeable and answered every question. Guy has been doing tunes forever and I was in and out of his shop in no time. The drive home was unbelievable. OTT tune is a game changer. Don’t think twice about it!

 

How much to tune?

 

Sorry for the slow reply. I’m new to TW and the site wouldn’t let me respond for 60 days…not sure why? Tune was $400. Best mod for sure. I love the way it responds, accelerates and shifts.
