    Hi all,
I’m new here, but hoping someone will have knowledge on this. I screwed up and went over a center road island. My clutch immediately went out. I’ve a 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD 6 speed with 47k on it Before I replace the clutch, any ideas on what maybe I could have hit and broke that could cause this? Prior to that the clutch was working perfectly.

    Thanks in advance

Can you describe what "went out" means?

What happens when you let of the clutch in 1st gear?

Does the truck try to move?
    Do the RPM drop?
When you give it gas in gear, do the rpm go up?

Does the truck roll in Neutral easily?

Before you go throwing parts at the problem, get the truck up on a lift. That should make it pretty obvious what made contact with the center divider when you went over it.
