Just got this wonderful 2003 Tacoma 2wd 2.4l.
This is my 3rd Toyota pick-up i have owned.
first was as 86 lowrider with full bags suspension and old-school tilt bed to the side.
seconded was a 99 basic 2wd auto i bought in hopes to make another lowrider, but it had to many issues. Didn't keep hat one long.
But this one is far the best one i have ever had and will keep till the good Lord takes it away.
The reason is because a very good friend of mine passed away and he left it to me as a good by gift. Before he passed, he had told me "Now don't go and changes things up on it and make it into one of them lowriders." I said, I promise I won't.
The only thing I have done to it is get an "in memory" back window decal made that I designed and tint the windows. His name was Lee Murphy and he was one of the best people you could ever know. He was an Engineer, so is drew up his last name as if he would have done it like board drafting. even though we use computer to do drafting he would still every once in a wile do board drafting on some projects.
