Been trying to locate a decent photo and I think this eBay auction shows the crossovers as well as anything I've found.

They're all vapor blasted and super clean so this might help

They appear to be fuel inlets ports as they enter those center 2 carbs at the same height as the crossover tubes coming out the other sides of the carb bodies to feed the outside carbs. A few pictures I looked at it looked like the early CB750 must have split the fuel line coming off the petcock into 2 fuel lines. My CB400F, that's where it has a T fitting and uses a single fuel line. I couldn't recall your year so just looked to try and find a clear pic that might be useful. Those are off a 1976.

Thanks. Mines a 1981 CB750k. I have one main fuel line from the petcock between the first and 2nd carb.

From this photo I found there is a T there and also to the right is where my main fuel line is(yellow square). I feel this is where it was leaking. But I still don't know if this is an overflow line?

What do you guys wear/suggest when it's 97 degrees of hot out and the jacket is way too warm?

I have a mesh Joe Rocket jacket I picked up off FB for cheap. Admittedly, I don't always wear it though :anonymous:

It wasn't that hot on my last ride, but it was in the mid/upper 80s and my Klim Marrakesh jacket (1st gen) was great. My legs were another story. This freakin' Super Tenere engine puts off some HEAT.

If that is the main fuel line coming from the tank there will be O-rings on each side to seal that T fitting to the carb bodies. They can flatten out over time and no longer seal or split and obviously no longer seal. One thing you can try is if you can get close to it is take some baby powder and put on both sides and then open the fuel petcock and you should see where it gets wet

I'll be honest I kinda just suffer. My summer jacket is a textile Dainese Avro D2 that has vents at the shoulder and back. I pull the liner, and leave the vents open in summer. Not too bad if you aren't getting stuck in city traffic regularly.

    Rather sweat than bleed so

    I vote this:

That being said, work through the PDF I linked the other day, see where the individual pieces are and maybe that'll help you get everything sorted back in place. I'm with Chuck in thinking that it would be an o-ring on your main fuel inlet. Any overflow would be at the bowls themselves.

Yeah this was the backup plan which at this point might be the best path. And have the old carbs as backup once I get everything sorted out.

Having been down the CB and vintage bike path in the past, do the Mikunis. Trying to sync 4 carbs is a nightmare. All the vintage shops in Seattle are gone, priced out. Even if you did find someone, it'd be $125+ an hour, might as well just get new parts instead

Def gave me some issues last night and this morning, but in classic fashion, it appears babying it was worse than getting it moving. Got an 8 mile backcountry biking loop in today and feels better after I got done than when I started.

I’m curious to what kinda mileage riders people have on their bikes.

    Almost 18k on mine.
