So my condenser is leaking refrigerant, so I’m going to replace that and put a new seal on anything that needs one. My question is, if it’s just the condenser that’s leaking, do I need to take the compressor out and put new oil in it? Or should just taking care of the condenser do the trick?

There are guidelines for how much oil you need to put in the condenser before installing it, pretty its only 1-2ozs. I can look it up later but you don't need to add any to the compressor

Ok sweet, I didn’t even realize the condenser got oil as well. I thought just the compressor did. I’ll have to look up the spec and stuff, I’m not even sure what kind of oil it Takes.

Yeah it isn't a ton but oil gets distributed through the whole system with the refrigerant as it travels. You are just adding back the little bit that traveled from the compressor to there. Pretty sure these systems take PAG oil
