Strange noise

    Put a wrench on it aand give

    Get a wrench on it and give it a good tug. If it moves it need to be tightened. IF the bushings look worn, ragged, ripped, mis aligned, rotted, etc. you need to get it repaired.

    Bringing back this old thread. OP - Did you every find out the source of the popping noise?

    I am currently experience the same issue on my 2013 taco to the T - popping/grinding noise coming from my front end when making turns at low speeds especially when reversing and turning the wheel at the same time. Seems to be more prominent in cold and/or wet weather. I have had both upper and lower control arms replaced, new front struts, new sway bar links and still hearing that popping noise. I am riding stock height so it wouldn't be an issue with it being lifted. Any bit helps.
