Has anyone with a Joying Headunit installed the AR cameras? I'm just curious to see where anyone has put them. I'd like to put the front facing camera somewhere in the grill/bumper, but I'm not sure if it would withstand the elements.

Just in the front for me as I am still using the OEM one for the back.

Here is where I put it:

Seems to be holding up ok outside??

I do have the OEM in-mirror camera for the rear. However, the picture quality seemed like it might be better in the Joying. The rear camera on mine seems to be aimed more at the hitch, than the rear as well, so I'm going to install the Joying, and keep the mirror can as well.

    Probably a better picture :)

With the original 3M double faced, it was shacking when I was driving so I replaced it with some gorilla outdoor double-faced tape. Not moving anymore.

Yes quality is lower but for me it is still doing the job. You can play with the image adjustment options for the rear camera to make it a little bit "better".
I like the fact the OEM is hidden in the tailgate and I didn't found a way to swap them nicely.

I hear ya. Honestly, it was such a a low price to add both, that I went ahead and got them. It's good to hear though, that the front camera is holding up on the bumper. That's exactly where I wanted to put it. And thanks for your recommendation on the tape

    Working on it
I’m thinking of getting a joying unit so I can have a front camera
