Do you mind giving me one summed-up Pro and one summed-up Con about your truck? Can be anything personal to you; big or small. I need this for... science.

P.S. 2.7L maintenance trackers are closer than ever :anonymous:

Pro: I love the way my truck looks and drives. I know many on TW don’t like the AT, but I rarely punch the gas and if I do I use the ECT button.

Con: I don’t like the engine compartment layout. Too hard to get at driver side spark plugs, coolant crossover pipe, timing chain cover etc.

    Vehicle:
    2006 access cab. 4x4, TRD-OR + 2023 TRD off-road.
    back to bone stock.
Pro: hopefully Toyota reliability. starts everytime. comfy. looks great, rides great. way less road noise than my 2006. i'm middle aged, and i am cool with the auto tranny. life aint a race for me.

Con: noise rear diff. "can i get some cheese with that whine?"
the fit and finish, especially around the front grill is kinda janky. it is oddly loose feeling when i wash the truck.
that low RPM stutter when you exit a corner is something to get used to.
i dont love the canister oil filter thing.

Wish that was the case in Canukistan, need to sell at least two 4th gen Trail Hunters to afford a shack…

I didn't sell it for enough to buy a house, I sold it to get our debt to income ratio right so we could buy a house.

The pro to that is I took the leftover money after paying it off and bought a skid steer :anonymous:

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
    For my ‘22 V6 TRD Off-Road 6MT:

Pro: Manual transmission, looks, tons of aftermarket support, capable off-road

Cons: not much low end torque, reverse gear is geared too high leading to have to slip the clutch a lot while reversing a trailer

I also wish the payload and towing capacity would be slight higher (7k lbs towing capacity would be nice)

What year? These cons aren’t normal.
