Good morning, Chuck. Hope you have a ride planned for the weekend. You should have nice weather for a long cruise.

@Oldie2007 The pics are great. Such a big engine.

Nothing too defined just yet. Vintage bike swap meet near me that I'm considering. Doing 2 different events this year along the lines of the mural event I did last year. One involves visiting race tracks and I have a list of those on my GPS for when I'm just out on a ride. I'm sure I'll find something to do.

Oh how I agree! Usually the best sleep I have had in a while. I usually am discussing the Dr’s latest research when suddenly I say something like “oops I have to go now” and it’s lights out. How quickly it’s over!

Another 16* hotter than normal day today! Need to get out and water my veges and cutting bed before the heat strikes! Then into my man cave to do some reading, TV watching, reloading, sketching, etc.
Have a great Thursday everybody. Do something you enjoy because “tomorrow may never come”.

    Morning all:

Now come on Mike, I don't mind helping anyone out here and there, that's what friends are for, just don't become a Royal PITB! :D

Just watching where they are discussing a major pay raise for the military, heck, I think as a seaman recruit I made 17c an hour 24 hrs. a day, with free medical dental room and board, pay raises with rise in rank, and 4 wks. pd vacation, what more could you want!

Another welcome to the new guys on the porch!

:hungry: Nice loking ribs, Tom @95SLE !

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Think I'm gonna mow and yard putz today. 96* should be hot enough for it. And, yeah, we still have all the humidity. I think of it as weight management.

Turned the central A/C on again today. The humidity just knocks the hell out of me!!!

It was beautiful weather here for the past 4 or 5 days.

Mid to upper daytime 70's and 50's at night....it was wonderful!

Need to get a water feature up and running today. Hummingbirds like it during these spells of hot weather. Changed the 30yr. old GFCI receptacle that feeds the pump yesterday, now that's working, but the pump is still not happy, but at least not tripping the GFCI. I'll disassemble/clean the pump diaphragm. Beyond that, it's a new pump.

Edit: The pump diaphragm was the issue. Wife says it was full of grunge.. whatever that is. Cleaned it up, reassembled, pump working! Didn't take long for a hummer to fly through the splash. I got the idea from watching them circle a feeder in the rain.
We have more hummingbirds than usual this year. They were later arriving, all the storms in the south, I suppose.

LOL Brought back memories. As a PVT E-2 I was making .18 cents an hour.

Happy Friday, everyone. Going out to hear my son perform tonight. Yesterday was a fun day. Went to a meat market that was about 60 miles away. They have different items on sale every week and this is the first time I have visited the store. It was packed and crazy busy. Picked up a Tomahawk steak, a couple of chuck eye steaks and some chicken leg quarters. I might be giving a cooking class to two young adults on Monday or maybe Sunday. Hope everything lines up and the class happens.
