Thank you for the help. I am trying to use a smaller size amp so that I can place it behind the dash. While I am purely an amateur stereo person I don't want to make a newbie mistake. I will be keeping the stock HU and be using Kicker KSS690 and KSC6704 speakers, thank you again for your help and time.

I would spend the extra $25-30 on the kicker key. Adds a lot of features and is tried and true.

the clarion marine stuff is ok, but they know you’ll be on a boat so they can get away with a lot because you won’t hear it.

sound ordinance isn’t anything I’d put in my truck, personally.

    I’ve never used NVX stuff

Hello All, 2019 SR stock HU, I will be installing Kicker KSS690 speakers in the front ( most likely using the Kicker Key amp ). I amp thinking of running a new wire from the crossover to the dash tweeter. I would like to use the existing wire for the door speaker to simplify the install. My question is how do I handle the junction at the OEM tweeter of the OEM wiring ? or is it easier to just run new wires from crossover to door speaker ? Thank you for any help.
