I'm looking to wire in a aftermarket switch for some LED foglights and would like to reuse the oem wiring. My truck didn't come with fog lights but has all the wiring for them already installed. Unfortunately the oem connector is a different connector than my switch. Would the wiring line up basically the same as I'm holding it? I would assume so but I figured I'd ask if anyone has more experience. Thanks!17180462799298373744893109260626.jpg 17180465069764522208763413556069.jpg

I found my answer, red to blue, green to white, white to green white. Black is obviously ground.

Okay, I've got my switch all wired up, fuse and relay installed as well. I've got my connector for my foglight in hand ready to splice. Hoping I can run this set up off of a single fog light connector with enough power. but I'm unsure what to do with the third wire? According to my Chinese instructions that I translated thanks to AI, red is positive/ACC, black is negative and white says headlamp? Foglight connector only has positive and negative. What should I do with the "headlamp" wire?

I guess this is a solo thread, idk how to delete it so I'm just gonna keep answering my questions incase anyone else wants to use these ebay foglights as well. The white and black go to the oem foglight wires, black to black/white, white to green white. The red wire I ran into my highbeam which instead of turning off the foglights makes them brighter. They also have blinkers, blue to driver side, yellow to passenger.

How is the output on these? Are they fogs or driving lights or both. Let see some beam shots.

The LED output is pretty bad actually, couldn't even tell they were on last night while driving. To my surprise and enjoyment though theyre both running lights and fog lights, when the foglights are switched to off and I'm set to running lights only, they stay on steady amber which I think is awesome so I'm gonna leave them in for that purpose. They even blink with the running lights when you lock/unlock the vehicle. I ordered these and the headlight housings in the picture you see at the sametime so I get enough visibility now from my normal headlights at night so I'm not too worried about the weak output, I just think they look good. Maybe it's because I'm running 8 leds off of 1 connection but the kit only provides 1 connection point. If I didn't reuse oem wiring and ran some thicker wire for power they would probably work better. Just installed LED bulbs in my headlights today to match the fog lights so we shall see how they do/look tonight. I'll post some pictures when it gets dark out though, so check back in about 4 hours or tomorrow!
