Yep Archive Garage Option 4 - easy to install but you might need an angle grinder to trim off the tops of the U-bolts.

Mine are amber not really bright at all I just like them on all the time for more visibility due to all the bad drivers not paying attention. But yeah people with much more blinding lights around than mine.

I dunno if this qualifies as a “mod”. I put together a trauma kit, very minimum at the moment but am still adding to it. My son’s baseball club experienced a drive by shooting at one of their games, thankfully not my son’s team…it made me really take a look at how prepared I was. I can defend myself and family, those around me…but once that part stops…first aid and life saving measures start. Also, being out in the woods, I felt I needed a next level life saving kit. Purchased all on Amazon, bought in bulk for the items to build one for my wife’s 4Runner also.

    Bag: $10
    Clot Gauze: $18
    Israeli Bandage: $8
    Tourniquets: $18
    Chest Seals: $13
Going to add: Medic sheers, a sharpie, and emergency blankets to help with shock.

Driver seat base is angled way down to rear, even after adjusting angle upwards to max. OK in January and problem with warmer weather as the seat became spongy, causing severe disc pain for me.

Angled driver seat base forward ( closer to level) by replacing rear seat bolts with 10x1.25mm x 90mm hexcaps and a tall stack of cut -down unistrut plate washers.
The front seat bolts accommodate the angle change just fine, the seat mounts are pressed sheetmetal and deformed a bit to accommodate the angle change.

You basically did this - for probably a lot less.

where are you finding C.A.T TQ for under $30 a piece without some .mil discount or a first responder discount?

and for stuff like that, get your self a SAM splint, some simple bandages, a roll of "vet wrap" (Coban) its usually on sale at a local farm and feed and often times I can get that for $1 and a few rolls of sealed gauze( pack the wound if necessary or even wrap a weirdly shaped lac. Clotting gauze can take time and pressure to set up. instant icepacks are nice too for sports injuries. sadly a drive by happened but you're more likely to have a broken bone or a laceration then need to pack a wound from shot. But think your kit is a great start. and a very important mod in my mind. I've a firm belief that if a person is able to "punch holes, one should be able to pack them."

I've a similar style pouch mounted in my truck, and a much larger box in my trucks bed

I did something similar, but not as high.
I used these as spacers when I did the back of my seat 18-8 Stainless Steel Unthreaded Spacer, 16 mm OD, 10 mm Long, for M10 Screw Size | McMaster-Carr
    And these for bolts (I can't remember if I purchased 30 or 35mm length, 35 I think) 18-8 Stainless Steel Hex Head Screw, M10 x 1.25 mm Thread Size, 35 mm Long | McMaster-Carr
I purchased SS washers from a hardware store to go on the bolt. I suppose I could have used a flange bolt but I didn't think about it at the time.

A lot of very good points. I have a boo boo kit and a medium level FAK in the truck behind the back seat. My idea with this was something to stop the major bleeding, quick access and not much else in the kit to clutter or get in the way in a stressful situation. I do have a couple SAM splints and love them! I’m considering getting the Rhino Rescue SAM pack as they have different sizes for different areas…mine are the larger size that would be used for bone breaks.

Also, Rhino has the CAT style tourniquets right now a pack of 2 for $23. I’ve watched and read reviews on their products and seem to be great. They seem to be well built and packaged well, I have no real world experience with them yet thankfully.

I have a second case that I am working on refurbishing. Waiting on a new O-Ring gasket then paint.
    My new setup will be...
Two pelican cases on my roof rack with DIY water tube in the middle between the two cases.
DIY fly rod carrier, solar panel, and traction boards mounted to the bed rack. (As of now, more to come)

As a new Tacoma owner, these 50 pages have been super helpful. My bank account will be happy that I won’t be draining it as I do many of these simple QoL mods!

Okay, just noting this here - For us manual guys, the reverse beep is also gone. So no door/seatbelt chime, no blinker clicking, and no reverse beep. This doesn't bug me and took me longer than I would like to admit to notice lol

Took a piece of black vinyl that my work's Marketing department was throwing out. Used it to black out the lock on the glovebox. Not perfect but it works.

The cylinder is super easy to take out. There’s instructions around here somewhere, but you press a button on it from inside the glove box and it just pops out.
Made wrapping mine way easier. I didn’t bother with a key cutout either, looks way cleaner. I’ve never once locked a glove box and can’t imagine a scenario where I’d want to
