Metal Fab Help - Sac area

Anyone in the sac area that can help?

Im fabricating some sliders, however I need to cut some square stock up for the legs. It's 4 cuts, at a 15* angle.

I was going to use a cutoff wheel and a grinder... But it seems very inaccurate.

I'm looking for either someone who can help cut (I'll drive to you) or a shop that can cut it for me.

 

An angle grinder can do it just fine. Get yourself one of these to mark the 15 degrees and take your time with the cut. If you plan on moving forward with fab work, it’ll come in handy for a bunch of future projects as well.

I have an angle gauge, and marked everything out already.

The angle grinder just... Seems inaccurate to use lol. I'm used to a saw with a metal blade, or a band saw lol. Worst case ill make a jog of sorts to hold the grinder lol

I got access to a mitre saw with a metal blade, I'm good now, thanks!

 

Even if you’re off by a little bit, you can make it up with how you fit it up when assembling.

If you’re unsure about keeping lines straight with an angle grinder, just clamp a piece of angle iron on it as a guide.

I agree with you. I used an angle grinder and man my cuts and measurements were not good. It’s usable but you can tell it’s obviously not squared. For my first project…not to shabby.
