I did leave them open...until I was following Dean and watched him kick some inside.....
    Up they went.

That's about where I'm at. That mud doesn't like to wash off underneath.
    Plenty of brand new dings.

Advice: weld both sides... I see people build those on videos and they just use wire on the outsides. I had the kids use 6010 on the inside too. My bumper moved trees, but a single outside pass might break-especially with all the grinding

If I buy a weld it yourself kit, I'm hauling it up to Bayfield to learn how to weld! ;)

Welding is child’s play. It’s just like soldering, only hotter.

Oh, I'm decent at soldering. Maybe there's hope for me

The leaves sure stick to your truck.

    Yes I agree.

Go with steel. My front skid is still aluminum. It took a hit last weekend and it's very noticeable.

    Love that picture! ;)

I did get a bit of mud flung into the cab through the front windows. The back windows were closed most of the time, but we're splattered up. After the 1st mud pit, my daughter rolled up her passenger side window every time we were approaching water or mud. :D

Saw this while driving today and thought to myself, that's the lamest ever use of a WI collector license plate, but look at the color match of the classic 1990s Dodge Caravan blue (in showroom condition, btw) with the blue of the collector plate! I can't decide if the guy driving this thing is to be respected or punched!

Guy should sell it to a museum or collector before it falls apart. Pretty amazing it hasn’t already

Current tunes have some wild options such as having a more aggressive mode mapped to the ECT button or if you have ECT on and you're in S mode. You actually have gear lock now.
