I’ve had some hairy situations near walls when I first got my ZT so I’ve kept the ROPS on for a false peace of mind.

I’m thinking the 1 point seat belt coupled with the ROPS is a real sketchy set up if both are needed…I’ve instituted a policy of going no closer than 5’ to the edge of walls.

Good morning everyone, we made it to Friday again (for those who still watch the calendar)!

Good morning guys, have a great Friday!

The past 2 days have been busy babysitting the grandkids. I’m looking forward to a more leisurely day of goofing off today

@Hunterdc1 @Jtcmedic have you guys been catching any of the heavy rain across the peninsula or has it been south of you?

Some of you may remember the plate I made a couple weeks ago with 768 holes in it.

    upload_2024-6-14_9-47-44.jpg

Boss man sent it to get plated, holes are strictly to let air pass through. Cosmetics matter more than anything. Somehow the plater burnt it with electricity. I know stuff happens

They are taking the finish off and I hope we can fix it. I tried welding one once before on a hole I messed up and the weld stuck out like a sore thumb after finishing so that is not an option.

Cole and I started digging some holes 4' deep to put some power poles in to fence the garden to keep the deer out. It's as dry as a Christmas turkey at our house.

It’s pretty dry over my way too. Not gray and crunchy yet but we’re getting there.

We might get some rain next week from the “area of disturbed weather” that’s supposed to go into south Texas.

I think if you use 5356 filler when you weld it in the anodizing should match up. Or be closer than a 4043 filler.

I did weld it with 4043 in the spool gun last time. Material is 6061-T6. If it has to be welded we'll send it to be tig welded this time.

If it's only for cosmetics then use a bit of epoxy, sand it and finish.

    Would anodize stick to epoxy?
