Yesterday I noticed grease coming from passenger CV, wiped it to see if that’s what it was. Got back under today and it’s back. Anyone ever had this problem?

not an oil leak what so ever*

I would think the boot is tore or split.
Edit after zooming in on the pic I see it is cracked.

You have a crack in your boot right behind the clamp.
Replace the boot, replace the axel or send it!!!

Yup I see the tear now. Didn’t realize I couldn’t replace the boot and not the whole axel. Definitely will opt to do that

I replaced the CV joints and axles on both sides when that happened to mine.
    Better safe than sorry

The factory axles are usually well worth buying some tools and rebooting. Aftermarket ones are usually nowhere near the quality of toyota cv axles.

Unless it’s clicking or damaged from grease missing then replacing just the boot and grease doesn’t hurt anything, and it will save money

Exactly, and I ended up doing a complete front end upgrade.

If it's a small enough tear, you can clean it really well and super glue it back together. It won't hold forever, but can buy you a few months.
