I am the proud second owner of a 2008 Access Cab Tacoma with 200,000 miles w/ no A/C - After replacing my compressor, i needed the a/c amplifier to get it all going again and it is!!. After removing the glove box I found it in the upper right, ...... BUT

is it possible to get a wrench in there to remove the nut without removing the airbag and dashboard? my arms don't bend 180 degrees in such a tight space so wondering if anyone else figured it out.

otherwise a little gorilla tape will do :)

Take the bolt out where the glove box latch is and the trim piece comes right out.
Are you sure it is indeed bad?

Just had my AC light flash on one occasion sitting in a parking lot eating lunch. Suspect the Sensor that detects the rpm speed but not going to do anything if it doesn't do it again.
