Already! Yikes! What happened to this week? Man they go by in a hurry now!
Much cooler here today…82 high and cloudy. A good day to spend in the yard. I’ve got some lilacs with some dead limbs I’ve been putting off trimming. Might be a good day for them.
Kettlebell start for my day, then hopefully enough energy to work outside and get some vitamin D.
Have a great day everyone! Do a little something special for someone close.

:oldglory: Good Morning and Happy Flag Day Porch Pals & Sue! Blood draw, errands, and greenhouse and Taco putz today. More hot and humid for us all weekend. It's Chisolm Trail Roundup all weekend here in town, so a good time to avoid local travel!

:oldglory: Oh yeah, Happy Birthday US Army!

:notsure: Found this yesterday morning. It was an original molding, and I have NO idea where it went - but it was pretty well used up. Todays arrival to fix was not wide enough, though it "fits your truck". I ordered something with measurements that match what I need, that "doesn't fit your truck".

Factory only or it will never stay on. I also add something to help hold it in the channel.

I put factory on the other side when it disappeared, and it needed a ton of help to stay there. I got plenty of sticky stuff to give it a hand, and I'm not spending $110 on that piece of rubber again. Clean, prep, tuck it down, and do my windshield top trim again. Pics of the stuff that will be here tomorrow show all the correct "grips" (both ends) that Toyota provides - the rest is up to you. Not too worried!

If you just press it down it’s not locked in.
Hard to explain. For me, inside part goes in first then the outside is kinds rolled in. I can feel when it locks in.
Never had one come back after.
Stay out of the car washes with the jet dryers. I usually found them on the car wash floor every day.

yep, that is a "funny" molding. It's like it wants to snap to the bottom groove, but it only does by friction, not by a grip surface. So, you do kind of roll it it. I have a skinny wall paper roller I used on the other side, after I couldn't get it to "sit" properly. That did the trick. I think they had some Brit Engineer help them with this design. "Just fuss it into place."
