    Good evening,
A.T. Hun here and hope all is well.
Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

I’m a life long fan of everything produced with a motor from the land of the rising sun.
From my first sports car, a 1978 Datsun 280Z 5spd, to my 1st truck, a 1995 Toyota Truck extended cab, 5spd, 4x4. My truck was, like a Deep Purple album, the last to be made, “Live in Japan.” FYI, the first Tacoma was “Born in the USA” the very next year in 1996.
Then a run of motorcycles, a 1978 GS750 Suzuki, a barn find, all original 1973 Honda CB750Four, a Kawasaki ZRX 1200, a Yamaha 250F dirt and FZ1 Street. After my Yamaha was totaled in a parking lot (a freakin truck backed over it ) I then decided to get an Italian V-twin, an Aprilia Tuono.

I sold my 95 Toyota Truck with 346k miles on the odo to pay for my daughter’s first year of private school tuition in 2007. I still see it driving around Macon, GA to this day!
In 2009, I inherited my Pop’s Tundra, a 2002, which he had affectionately called his “BDT!” (best damn truck) It was my 95 Tacoma that convinced my Dad to buy his first Yota.
That 4.7 V8 made a lot of “bow tie guys” and Ford owners like my Dad, rethink things. Fast forward to 2015, and BDT was t-boned and totaled. As a recently divorced traveling nurse, I needed to buy a new truck as quickly as possible. I saw a Tacoma with a 2” lift, some aftermarket wheels and a Leer Camper top and BAM, I fell back in love with a smaller Yota. I found a 2nd generation Tacoma, a 2012 PreRunner TRD crew cab, short bed with the OR pkg and leather. I also wanted it with a manual & 4x4, but timing didn’t allow it.

And that’s what brings me here today. My Tacoma has been “paid in full” for years and is relegated to weekend driving as I have a company car for work during the week. Instead of being an idiot and trying to buy a new(er) ride in this incredibly OVER INFLATED TRUCK MARKET, I’ve gotten the bug to add some mods and make my Yota feel “newish” instead. Black TRD Pro Wheels & tires, TRD Pro Grill Mod, black out emblem kit mods and a new & modern stereo head unit. A used, color-matched Leer or A.R.E topper with a rack or a trifold bed topper are other mods I’m debating.

These are all DIY mods to be performed while enjoying cold beverages and rock n roll playing out in the carport.
If you’re ever passing through Macon, Ga, known in these parts as the “Heart of Ga,” reach out and say “Howdy!” (I’m a native Texan, a fighting Texas Aggie and a Dawg supporter as I pay UGA for my oldest to attend, lol ✌)
