Watched some circle track racing tonight, a lot more fun than expected, and the people watching, 10/10. I got the tickets for free even, talk about a win!

Roundy round people watching is premo. The racing is like paint drying but the people make it worth it

This is a diplomat vehicle from Washington, DC. I don't recall seeing this color. I think it sits around and is polished by some embassy worker all day.

Another member had asked if I can make something that's discontinued

It's a relocation bracket for some sensor behind the grill for a later generation Tundra

Most of the dimensions were provided (not all) so I had to make a judgement call on the horizontal face width as well as the bottom leg width

The opening at the bottom is larger than up top

Wish i could offer some meaningful local intel. I haven't been across the Bay Bridge in at least ten years. That area used to be just farms and reasonably-priced housing that people would buy for retirement, if they weren't going to leave the DC area.

The traffic on Rte 50 in the summer months is total madness.

Like many places, our Hut closed down a while back.
Some fancy pizza joint moved into the space. A single-serve 'za is like $16-18 bucks. Hard pass.
My inner pre-teen laughs every time I say the name...

That is insanely clean. Good color too.
I bought a DC diplomat car once, was barely touched. I was told they mostly sit since they're mainly used when the diplomat is in town. Taken care of in a garage, oil changes and maintenance done as needed, etc.

I had a scare with the 98 Maxima failing to start. Basically, we pulled it in the parking spot and left it for over a month. I couldn't get it to start.
A friend came by to take a look. He swapped in a Cam Position Sensor that I had in the workshop.

This one has FWD with VLSD diff. I love this damned old beater.
