I know you have it figured out but thought I’d share my fan wiring from the other day. It had a black, blue, white, and ground. I connected the blue and black together. Blue went to the light and I didn’t put it on a separate switch.

I knew my deck belt was fatally cracked, so I bought one last week and figured I'd send it until the current one let go. Yesterday I fired up the mower and got about 100 feet before I noticed the sound changed, time to put that belt on already! Went back to the shop to find this instead. :bananadead:
    IMG_20240615_111951.jpg

The cone shaped thing on the right is a standoff / spacer that goes under the pulley. The bearing must have blown a while ago, since the inner race wore the side off the standoff. I built it back up with mig wire before I thought about pictures. It ain't pretty, but it's flat again. It looks better in person.:) Turned out the belt didn't actually break, the pulley must have shifted more and threw the belt. It was definitely on borrowed time though.

    IMG_20240615_112442.jpg
A new idler pulley is on the way. I took the other two off and tried to get a bit of lube into them, thinking it may help a bit. I was surprised that I didn't notice when the pulley shifted. The mower never skipped a beat. :notsure:

My blades live an underprivileged life too. Most of the house and pond are bordered by river rock. For the most part I stay out of it, but then there's the other times.

My lawn was looking goofy too, and I was going to put a new set on, but figured I'd get the big adjustable out first. I actually got this one straight enough, which is good, because this set will last at least the rest of the year.

2 in, 4 to go. Trying to keep deer out of the garden. Going up to 8’ with the wire.

Maybe add an extra 2’ of Electric Barbed Wire up top just to be safe. :)

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Between deer, mole/voles, and slugs, gardening can be a loosing proposition.

Yeah, but someone’s gotta feed ‘em so @StayinStock can justify tree stands.

So I did a fence out of fishing line. The hypothesis is they can't see it, especially at night. Their nose touches it, it is taut, they have no idea what it is or how high it goes so they walk away.

So far, zero deer problem. Every other year we have deer problem. We will see.

You'll also be thankful if you free range your chickens. They'd likely do far more damage to your garden than the deer.

Is the foam installed over a normal handle so when it wears out it's still useable? I've seen that type in flyers and wondered.

Not sure. The label doesn't say anything but it's solid under the cushioning.

I have this on the handle with a thin coat of Gorilla clue in between, it held up pretty good.
