you were right…. Now I am stuck with a faulty tire… already contacted MT to see what do they suggest to help me out…..

 

I have the same size and run 32 psi cold. Contemplating going to 30 in the rear. Haven’t done any chalk tests for wear, but they “feel” pretty good.

 

This is one reason I'm thinking twice about switching. By the time anyone can get them they would've been out of stock for 2 months. Strange how a major company can have such poor planning/production run and inventory control in today's world. Especially in your situation needing a replacement.

 

There are still shortages in a wide array of areas.. it's really not that strange for them to experience a shortage

 

Not really, I have the ICON Rebound Pros and I think one of the seals on the retaining pins is leaking.

 

Any more input on these from those running them?

 

I will buy another set when I wear these out. Love them. Great in all conditions for me.

 

So far great in all conditions (rain, snow, dirt, sand, pavement).

 

Amazing tires buying another set in 285/75r16

 

After a bit of a waiting period, I got my faulty tire replaced under warranty.. I ended up paying $100 for mounting, balancing and a prorated payment on new tire. Fair to me, after putting around 8k on that tire.

Bulge never got bigger. Used it until replaced.

pleased with Mickey Thompson attention to the matter… onto many more miles…

 

Is anyone running a 265/75/16 Baja Boss AT spare under he bed? Does it fit without modifications?

Yep, I'm running a 295/70/17 but am not interested in a swing out for a full size spare. I just need it to get to the tire shop and not to drive home on.

 

Did you have to do a body mount chop?

 

Trail run to my favorite camping spot. Didn't air down at all, and although not as cushy as it could have been, these tires continue to impress.

 

Been emailing Mickey Thompson’s tech department regarding the Baja Boss AT. It was their top choice for my application. I was looking for daily driver with strong wet traction. Followed by good performance in mud/sand (most weekends are spent driving on the beaches or Forrest trails). Snow performance was not important to me as I live in Florida.

I also asked about psi to run and they will give you a recommendation based off stock vs new tire size and stock psi. They are very responsive and customer service has always been great
