Trail Run - Turkey Creek 5/17

Fun was had

 

Great trip
Broke the sliders in nicely, they caught the truck on a couple pretty hard falls with no issues thanks to @Yacob_D

 

Probably not where it happened but....

 

Hard to say slid off a few rocks

Didn't take to many pics as we pretty much kept moving through the technical spots

 

Was a fantastic trip on Smiley Rock. Glad @TACOTU3 @time623 and @OnePuttBlunder could come out and play. I have some videos to go through and I'll get those up at some point.

 

Sorry I missed it, I had to spend the day moving my girlfriend into her new place

 

Thanks for letting us tag along, we had a blast! Great trail, great company and great burgers! @Supr4Lo hope you and the Mrs enjoy Sedona, and that the bars there are less moist than in Jerome…

Also, +1 for @Yacob_D sliders! Don’t think we would have made it out in one piece without you bud.

We had a good time. We were the only ones on the Soldiers Pass 4x4 trail. We also hiked up to the caves, which was very cool. Thanks for the recommendation! I'm sure the bars in Sedona are way less moist, but we stopped for Gelato instead. What a great weekend all around.

 

We take propane fire pits and carry on, ha.

Anything planned for this weekend? I see lots of rain up north. Where else can you escape 110+?

 

You can barely escape it up here. Its hot and humid. It aint to much fun. But I guess for you valley folk 95 would be welcomed hahaha

 

I was up near Woods Canyon Lake last weekend. Weather was fantastic compared to the valley, ha.

 

Yeah I am just bitching to bitch. It is nice up here I just want it to drop back into the 80's.

 

Nothing planned, but I could do a day trip Saturday. Have something in mind?

 

Not really, that's why I asked, ha.

I might just chance the rain and go up north anyway.

 

Other than a night run it's too hot to do trails close to home for a day trip.

Only thing that is coming up is a night run on Elvis July 27th. This is with the Hardline Yotas - AZ facebook group. The trail run is being put together by @drtfabrication.

 

I really want to join on this but family situation has come up. We had plans to camp and they might be placed on hold as well. I keep following just not very active.
