Recently bought a 2015 double cab long box trd sport 4x4. Original owner had the bds 4inch lift installed that cut the crossmember. Issue with this
    1.) Didnt gain any clearance

2.) The cv shafts are actually angled slightly up.

I like the current height of the truck but would like to gain some clearance, live where we get a lot of snow. I've tried looking through the forum with no exact answer.
I've had same truck with 3 inch bilstien 5100s as a 3inch lift with no diff drop without any issues.

So my question is has anyone done a 4inch lift without the crossmember chop?

Will be replacing the current stock height shocks and the 4inch block lift with fox shocks built for a 4inch lift, diff drop, extended upper and lower control arms designed for 2-4inch lift. Dont do much off roading.
