I just had a motor replaced before the temps warmed up. Seems the fan blades aren't balanced so it'll eventually eat the bearings. I run mine all year so I get about 5 years out of a motor. I usually have them do a check-up/cleaning every year or so come spring time. We just had a few days of 110+ with more the end of the week. Good thing is our home is "certified energy efficient" so maintaining temps isn't hard to do. I would like to add a mini split to the garage but the breaker is on the wrong side of the house unless I tap into the dryer circuit (240) or get a gas dryer and re-dedicate and extend that line.

here he is (far left) 50 years ago with his friends morel hunting in upstate Michigan; his friends have PBR and Schlitz, but I can't tell what my dad is drinking, if anyone can recognize that section of the can let me know:

 

I've not been able to find name of the drink in your dad's hand. The man in the middle is holding a Schlitz Beer can.

 

Maybe a Schmidt?

 

Old Milwaukee?

 

I had a neighbor across the street from me that had Schlitz on tap in his garage. He'd get gassed most afternoons and leave his garage door open so I'd grab my green plastic pitcher and head over
to help myself to his tapper. I can still taste that stuff! (I was a new broke teacher and I didn't have much if any spare $$$ to buy my own beer) My neighbor was "Don", good guy

 

My wife has had me on a no beer diet. I got so desperate for a beer I broke into my stash of PBR that I use for simmering Brats. The PBR was damn good!

 

Yes, all of them holing beers, different brands.

 

I don't think so, my dad drank a whole bunch of that...the can's different, label wasn't on an angle.

Good morning everyone here is great day.

 

Good Monday morning, donut makers and those that have made their share of donuts!
This week starts a fun stretch for me. Two days at home (St. Pete), then 3 days in St. Louis for meetings at HQ. Saturday, I start a week vacation by staying home while the wife and girls go to Long Boat Key. I meet up with them on Tuesday...girls come back home and wife and I spend the rest of the week at the beach.
Then back to work the following Monday for 3 days followed by a 4 day Independence Day weekend up at the farm in north Florida.
Yay!!!
