I am new to this forum so if anything has already been answered/discussed please direct me. I recently bought a 2008 Taco and just noticed the coolant leaking but I think it has been leaking for some time. I have only been doing my own car maintenance for about a year now and this is the first coolant issue I have had so I am just looking for any advice/tips, or to see if anybody else has had this problem as well. I haven't been able to get in there yet but from the video, the areas with the residue (and obviously the dripping) is what I think is the only source of the leak.

Coolant bypass pipe, very common leak on the 2.7L

There is an updated pipe that is metal instead of plastic.

It's a 2-4hr job depending on your skill level and tooling.

Yes..... definitely a DIY kinda job with regular hand tools.

Just be certain to gently tighten down the intake manifold properly.
