leaf springs

hello Tacoma guys!!!
I have a question my brother's tacoma has some leafs brocken and need to raplace them.
are the leaf springs 4x4 the same for Sport edition not 4x4?

They should be, but for a better answer we'd need to know what year each of the trucks are, or at least what generation of Toyota Tacoma.

Yeah, as long as you're within that range of years, you should be fine. Don't forget to buy new U-bolts if they don't come with them. You should never re-use U-bolts.

 

Thanks buddy!!! I think his is a 1st generation 2008, mine is a second Gen. 2015. where can I get the ubolts SIR.

 

First generation is before 2005. 2005-2015 is 2nd generation (the slight difference in grill and front end started in 2012, and is sometimes called generation 2.5). 2016-2023 is 3rd generation.

As long as the ebay leaf springs you are getting are OEM replacements, you should be able to search for OEM Toyota Tacoma u-bolts for that same year range as before and find them and they will fit. Just make sure they are selling new ones, not used. Searching "2005-2015 toyota tacoma u-bolts" on google comes up with a bunch of new ones.
