Checking oil level

    First of all, the oil capacity of 1GR-FE is 5.5 qts with filter. 2gr-fks-6.2. Which makes a difference of 0.7 qts (less than 1qts).
    Add mechanical differences:
    -2 exhaust vvti gears on exhaust cams
    -upper oil panel
    -2gr-fks uses hydraulic lash adjusters. 1gr-fe does not according to the engine documentation.
    -the exhaust cam on bank 1 designed to lube vaccum pump. (Not sure about bank 2)
    After you fill all above with oil to maintain the pressure, you will pretty much use all of 0.7 qts difference
