Hi all I have a 2017 off road and was wondering if anyone has changed out the brake fluid on a off road or pro? I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for. I know to suck as much old fluid out as I can and the bleeding proses. But I think you have to hook it up to a scan machine and do something. Any advice or links to get this done would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If the 2017 is like the 2021's, then just turn the truck on when you bleed the rears. They're electronically actuated so that system needs to be powered. A second person can pretty much just hold the brake pedal down while you crack the rear bleeders and it will keep pushing fluid out.

Up front they are normal and direct from the master.

This is for the Off road/ pro? I know the off road and pro are different than the other models.

You dont need tech stream to just bleed it. Now if replacing the master then you likely need it.

Rears will bleed by holding down the brake peddle. Just don't let the master run out of fluid.

Fronts you can manual pump the brake peddle to bleed one corner at a time. A good 10-15 pumps per corner will do it. I use a custom length black pipe from home depot to hold the brake peddle in place before securing the bleeder.

Just use a Gatorade bottle or one of these, skip the fluid pump bleeder method, I used those in the past and they tend to suck brake fluid into the tool and are more messy to deal with.

Yes, specifically, for the boosted models.

The other trim levels are standard bleeding process on all corners.
