tires for lifted 2001 prerunner

hey y'all. glad to be here. just recently bought a 2001 prerunner v6 with rear locking. super clean truck and stoked on it. the only thing that is rough is that it is very lifted. front lift package is toy tech. the back lift is just a block lift. the reason why i am not super into it is because it is so tall that the ride comfortability is super stiff. my mechanic says i should leave the lift but try to find softer tires that have a little more cushion to make riding smoother. any recs on tires or thoughts on this? best!
