Please excuse my ignorance with this vehicle. I'm just getting acquainted with it and it's actually my son's truck.

2001 Toyota 6 Lug, 2 wheel drive w/off road pack.

Rebuilding the entire front suspension and looking at Genuine parts, I'm throughly confused. For instance, lets talk front lower ball joints. Can't figure out wha the correct part number is.

Is it this: 43340-39436 and 39556 or is it the 43330-39585 & 39815? Also had the same issue with the front lower control arms. Both part numbers state they fit but I'm thinking the more expensive part is the true correct part.

    Any help is appreciated.

I use Partsouq and ToyoDIY. Both of these places rely on your truck's Vin# to identify the correct part numbers.

Thanks to all that chimed in. I'm gathering the correct part numbers now. I usually make a video or DIY for everything I do but since I'm late to the game, it probably isn't needed for this platform.

I'll post up something though so I can become a full fledged member and participate in the classifieds.

If you've never replaced an LBJ on your 2002 Tacoma, be sure to check out Timmy's video on how to do it.

He's got nice video. I've done so many suspensions and have a large collection of automotive specialty tools, the job should go pretty smooth.
