Unlikley with that small of a lift. Even if it did occur, it's not like it's going to grenade right away; it just wreaks havoc with a fella's OCD hearing it hum. I suppose at some point it would fail, but I've read on this forum guys have gone thousands of miles with the bearing humming. Maybe take a gander over at the dedicated thread about 3rd Gen shocks on 2nd Gens. I know it's a decent-sized thread just on that swap.

Besides using the needle bearing puller that ECGS sells, what could be used, or have you guys used to pull the needle bearing? 45$ seems a bit steep for a puller I will use hopefully exactly once.

I just replaced mine, the tool worked like a charm. It's a one time project for many owners so the pullers often show up for sale in the classifieds.

I have a non lifted 2016 3rd gen and after nearly 110k miles my needle bearing started to growl and hum. It's SUPER annoying.

Doing the ECGS swap when I do my front brakes in a few weeks

I'm surprised a non lifted taco with stock wheel and tire size needs the ecgs bushing swap. Oh well..looking forward to not having that vibration in my floor board on driver's side anymore
