As the title states I have a whistling noise in the engine compartment in my 2008 Taco. I'll hear the noise right away when I start it and upon acceleration. It dose seem to be a little bit quieter when its warmed up, but its still there. I did have a code but I disconnected the battery when I replaced the power steering pump. The engine light never came back on. Could the alternator make this sound? What about the water pump? What about some vacuum lines? Talk to me Tacoma World.
